  We really liked this place. The staff were really good and the bird exhibits were outstanding. We got our daughter (11 years old) the encounter package ("Closest") where she got to hold various birds which was really interesting. Then we all had bought the Hawk Walk which was great, as you get to put on a big leather gauntlet and have a hawk fly and land on your hand. We really enjoyed this place and would recommend. The flying demonstration was really interesting with the various raptors flying very low over the spectators heads. Very cool.

  Such a fabulous resource and fun place to go. From awareness days to hands on experiences, it's one of my favourite places. You can walk through the grounds and see many of the birds, but paying extra for the hands on experience is truly worth it. The staff is very knowledgeable and caring. You'll learn so much while having a great time. I highly recommend the Owl Evenings when they running - when else do you get to hold an owl and take one out flying. They also have a cute little gift store. In addition to having a great time, you are supporting rehabilitation and conservation efforts. The center is a must-go for both islanders and tourists.
